Think of them as your beauty sidekicks, ensuring you’re perfectly prepped before your appointment and glowing long after you leave. From skincare do's and don'ts to post-massage bliss tips, following these guidelines is crucial for achieving the best outcomes. The following local contraindications will not prevent treatment but your therapist will avoid the contraindicated area:
Cuts/Abrasions
Bruising/Swelling
Skin Conditions (Eczema, Dermatitis, Psoriasis)
Bruising/Inflammation
Nail separation
Corns
Please seek medical advice prior to booking a Pedicure treatment if you have any of the following. Medical permission in writing would need to be obtained:
Undiagnosed lumps and swellings
Diabetes
Hemophilia
Medical Oedema
Arthritis (on lower leg or foot)
Nervous or psychotic conditions
Recent operations on the lower leg or foot
Undiagnosed Pain
Please do not book for a Pedicure treatment or reschedule your appointment if you currently have any of the following:
Infectious skin diseases (Impetigo, Scabies, Chicken Pox or Mumps)
Broken bones
Athletes Foot
Fungal Nail Infections
Fever
Fungal Nail Infection
Verrucae (we offer CryoPen treatment for Verrucae)
Pre-treatment Advice
Please bring open toed sandals with you if you are having polish applied and allow adequate time for the polish to dry.
Please remove any existing nail polish (if possible), prior to your Pedicure appointment.
Please ensure any Gel polish has been removed prior to your Pedicure appointment.
Aftercare Advice:Intense Hydrating Heel Repair Cream - Best applied before bed with cotton socks over the top. Massage cuticles with Nourish Tropic cuticle oil (available in store). Book in for regular pedicures.

Please do not book for a Manicure treatment if you currently have any of the following:
Infectious skin diseases (Impetigo, Scabies, Chicken Pox or Mumps)
Broken bones
Ringworm
Fungal Nail Infections
Paronychia (whitlow)
Pre-treatment Advice:Please remove all nail varnish/Gel polish/nail enhancements prior to your Manicure appointment .
Aftercare Advice:
Avoid putting hands in water for 4-6 hours after appointment (if possible). Wear protective gloves when gardening or doing housework. Dry hands thoroughly after washing. Daily Cuticle Oil - Massage into the cuticle before bedtime.
Hands & Body Moisturising Emulsion - use generously for hands, arms feet & body.

Hyper Pigmentation/Telangiectasia (Broken Capillaries)
Inflamed or erupted skin
Moles (raised, irregular or hairy)
Keloid Scarring
Open lessions/Cuts
Abrasions or swellings
Rosacea
Low blood pressure
Please seek medical advice prior to booking one of our Signature Facials if you have any of the following. Medical permission in writing may need to be obtained:
Botox/Fillers - written consent from your botox/fillers specialist prior to treatment
Diabetes - doctor's note if not controlled (diet or insulin)
Hepatitis/HIV - Doctor's note to state suitable for treatment
High blood pressure - Doctor's note if not controlled by medication
Prescribed Acne medication
Skin Cancer/Cancer/Multiple Sclerosis - Doctor's note required
Please do not book for one of our Signature Facials or reschedule if you currently have any of the following:
Recent Hair Removal (waxing, threading, electrolosis or epilation)/ Bleaching / Exfoliation - you must leave 48 hours prior to or post treatment
Pregnancy/Breastfeeding/IPL
Recent facial surgery or scarring
Recent laser treatment, chemical peel or microdermabrasion - skin cannot be treated for 7 days before or after
Traumatised, sunburnt, bruised or broken skin
Warts/Herpes Simplex (coldsore)/Shingles/Skin or eye infection
Infectious skin diseases (Impetigo, Scabies, Chicken Pox or Mumps)
Pre-treatment Advice
Wear clothing that is comfortable. Avoid exfoliating your skin for a few days prior to your treatment. Do not wax area prior to treatment.
Beard - please shave the day/evening before your facial treatment. If you do shave on the day of your facial, be sure to do so at least six to eight hours before your appointment
Know your at home skincare. I may ask you about it.

Any eye condition will prohibit this treatment from taking place.
Please do not book for a Lash Lift treatment if you currently have any of the following:
Skin condition around the eye area (Eczema, Dermatitis, Psoriasis)
Conjunctivitis
A recent eye infection
Cataracts
Glaucoma
Diabetic Retinopathy
Alopecia
Trichotillomania
Pregnancy/breastfeeding (if reaction antihistamines are recommended and would require a doctors appointment if you are pregnant to breastfeeding)
Pre-treatment Advice:
A patch test MUST be performed 48 hours prior to treatment. Please contact salon to arrange.
Please attend your appointment free from eye makeup. Do not wear water-proof mascara for 24 hours ahead of your appointment.
On The Day Of Your Appointment:
Do not wear mascara
Do not have a spray tan
Avoid applying oily products on your lashes or around your eyes
Contact lenses must be removed prior to the treatment, for this reason we recommend glasses are worn.
Aftercare Advice
Do not get lashes wet or use mascara for the first 24 hours.
Avoid steam (including when opening dishwashers / ovens), saunas and swimming for the first 24 hours.
Avoid touching, rubbing or introducing foreign bodies or contaminants into the treatment area.
Ensure the lashes are not disturbed or manipulated into different positions (e.g when sleeping, cleansing the face, applying moisturiser or cosmetics).
Do not perm lashes or use lash curlers.
Avoid strong sunlight or UV light if tinted.
For 24 hours after your treatment the lashes are still settling into their new shape, so please avoid anything that would disturb this process.
